One of Portland’s Best-Kept-Secrets: An Outstanding, 102-year-old Landmark A.K.A. Peninsula Park

Spring has definitely sprung with Daydreams & Daffodils in Peninsula Park, although most humans in Portland’s Piedmont District are anxiously waiting for the all-mighty roses to arrive and showcase their blooms into beauty. With almost 17-acres to explore, hundreds of roses to sniff, and a mesmerizingly romantic fountain to stare at; Peninsula Park is guaranteed to please on a picnic date or an afternoon stroll. You can even get married or re-married to your sweety-pie here if you so pleased.

Check out an awesome 2014-trailer for a documentary made by PDX-students on Peninsula Park: tucked right-off of Rosa Parks Way.

Then, enjoy some shots from a daydreamy walk that I experienced recently. All inspired by this beautiful, one-of-a-kind park, its charming architecture & the spirit of its history (Adele’s Daydreamer is offered as an optional accompaniment).

  1. I love all the photos of the different ‘secrets’ and I am always looking for new places to explore in Portland so this was awesome because I saw a few that I haven’t been to yet!
